I like the ease of this functional Tiller and the power it has. Great for little gardens and flower beds. Digs deep an fast. Easy to use. Quiet and have had no problems with it.

This Sun Joe 12 amp tiller is an excellent, powerful, lightweight, easy-to-use machine. I put this thing together and tilled 300 sq ft of turf in less time than it used to take to start my old 2-cycle engine tiller. And it did a better job. The ergonomics make it easy to hold and maneuver, and it is easy to adjust for tilling depth. I debated between the 12 amp and the 13.5 amp--but, for my small plot, the 12 amp is plenty of power. I tilled thru grass, weeds, and clay soil--no hesitation, no problem. And, it is quiet. I highly recommend this little tiller.

Was easy to assemble, and was light and had plenty of power to till up my weedy back yard. No more yanking cords to start it up just depress the safety switch and squeeze the start switch and go.

While this little thing definitely isn’t a pro grade tool the price for what you get is definitely a deal. It handled the compacted NC clay after a home renovation with ease pulling up rocks and debris all along the way. Would definitely recommend for smaller projects. The one downfall to this unit is the cheap tiller blades. They bend and get dull in a matter of a couple minutes. I’m assuming they sell replacements at a reasonable price tho.

This tiler is not that expensive but work great. We used it on dirt only!

This little roto tiller was a beast! It took on the toughest dirt I could throw at it and continued to amaze me!!!!! I would recommend this little animal to anyone who wants a great machine at a great price.

We had another manufacturer's cultivator tool for years and it was on its last legs. I saw this tool and knew right away that I had to have it. Received it in a small box and was confused but when I put it together, I was surprised at how easy it was to assemble and how strong it was. It works as good as the last one we had but it will probably last longer as it is all metal, not plastic.

Overall works very well and is very well priced. Does not feel cheap. I really got after it and never felt like it would cave under the strain/pressure. The only small change I would suggest is a locking mechanism in the pole so when you screw them together they snap into place... I did have them start to back out once or twice, but you notice it before it is a problem and takes 2 seconds to fix so did not deduct a star for that.

Bought this for my son to perforate the back yard area. He wanted something to break up the dirt so she could do some grass seed. Was kind of a skeptical about how good it would do, but to his surprise, and mine, it did the job! He just pushes it along the ground with a little pressure and it loose a the ground. Easy to use. Seems well made and was easy to put together.

So far, so good. I have about 2 inches of soil and then 10 feet of clay on my land. Slow but steady wins the race with this little tiller. I did use a garden fork to loosen the clods and pulled the tops off the weeds before using it, but it sure beats sitting on my garden for hours with a trowel trying to dig out the invaders. Lightweight, easy to use in raised beds, especially if you plan on removing the good plants and starting over from scratch in your garden. I'd recommend it.

This is a good little unit for smaller areas and looser soil. Any root over about 1/10th of an inch will cause it to bind up and in hard soil it’s not going to do much without a fair amount of pressure or multiple passes. Overall, for the price it served its purpose and did an adequate job. I’d say worth the money for small jobs….

Easy to put together, well packed, it came fast, and it tills my dirt using its own weight. The tiller had a clutch that clicks loudly when a rock, root, iron pipe, or whatever blocks the blades. It takes the same amount of effort to operate it as a vacuum cleaner. Just accept you’ll be spending more time cleaning the blades than tilling. I used this on virgin soil that was 120 years old with all the trash you’d expect. The tiller did a great job.

I was a little skeptical about a fairly inexpensive electric tiller but once again WEN has proven me wrong! This was extremely easy to assemble and it does not weigh very much. It's very quiet and powerful for what it is. It does have the tendency to through dirt around more than a larger gas powered tiller but my guess would be the dirt flies since this spins much faster that a gas powered tiller. This was just 1 of the many WEN power tools I own that it awesome!

I checked withHo.e Depot about renting a tiller. Cost was $45 for the day. I tilled with this easy to use tiller and 2 uses just about pays for it. Great value for the money

Reasonably priced. Powerful to get job done. Used it to till 6 patches of ground of size 25 sq.ft. and once you get the hang of how to use it, tilling of depths of 8 to 10 inches is easy as long you have strong arms. Would definitely recommend it for small time tilling.

I bought this to till a path for pavers because I didn't want to dig. This tiller is strong, easy to handle, and has good battery life. Tilling 30 ft took maybe 10 minutes. This saved me time and probably sore digging muscles. The tiller made a clean path. Tilling a 100 sq ft garden might be quicker with a gas powered 24" tiller, but I bet this one could handle it. No one in my neighborhood will have to dig or turnover flowerbeds next year. We're all going to use this!

I love this tiller it’s awesome it’s easy to use. It’s not very heavy. Does a great job for flowerbeds and keep being the garden weeds out if you get them before the ground is too hard.

We were so pleasantly surprised in every way by this awesome tiller. Compared with other more expensive tillers we have owned in the past, including our Mantis, this tiller is easy to assemble, maneuver and outperforms the rest. The width of blades is adjustable so you can use all 4 blades or remove the outer 2 blades to dig narrow trenches. Incredible power and without the stink of a gas-powered tiller. Wow! So glad we bought this.

Great tool to use for a small back years. Just be ready to do the work lol. But it definitely did the work I needed to lay down a new lawnWhen it's on high it takes off like a rocket. A strap would help. Am thinking of a way to rig one up

The RYOBI Ryobi 18V Cordless Cultivator does just what I needed for the cultivating around my flowerbeds and small garden. This is not a rototiller but a fairly robust cultivator. It will break up ground (Tennessee clay is hard) but not a big area. Works great in keeping the soil broken up.

Purchased for weeding my sweetcorn. Works quickly and seems to be very heavy-duty. It may cost more than other small tillers, but it's a better built machine. If you've got a large garden to weed, this one is the one you want.

Lightweight, the battery lasted about an hour. I have other batteries so I just kept switching them out. Really fluffs up the soil nicely and cuts out the weeds. I have spots in my garden that have really compact dirt but, I found when I kept going over it, it finally broke it up. I have about a 1/4 acre garden and it saves me a lot of time and work. I love it!

I was hesitant about buying this product, but after only a few minutes of use, I was sold. The tiller/cultivator worked well for what I needed it for - two hardscaping projects - a small fire pit area and around my backyard deck. It easily removed the grass.

For a machine this small, it really has a lot of power. Once you get the hang of it, it does a pretty good job of tilling the soil. It's best to make multiple passes up and down the path of your garden, but will really make the soil nice and smooth. My only regret is not buying this sooner.

I have been using this to dig a trench. It has powered thru clay and wasn't stopped by the occasional stone. The tines have not bent or broken. I'm really surprised by the performance.
